So, we invite you to purchase one of our I'm Fine Smiley Charms, or a Happy Pills charm to make your shopping habits matter. We will be donating $5 from each charm purchase to Stella's Place, a local, low barrier peer supported mental health centre, that offers various mental health services for young adults ages 16-29 in need of mental health support.
Founded off of the idea that adequate mental health support should be accessible to all, they offer programs with a community based approach. Whether it's an online service or in person, they offer a variety of ways to receive support. In order to facilitate this, they rely on the generosity of folks who are able to donate to keep these programs at such a low barrier to entry.
As a small business, we are very mindful of where our fundraising efforts go and we mindfully chose Stella’s Place because we believe in their work. We believe in destigmatizing mental illness and invite you to join us!

You'll want to swap out your polarized goggles for some UV protecting shades post ski in order to après correctly. According to the Condé Nast traveller, the after ski activities have no specific definition, and can vary regionally, but often involve kicking back with some food, drink and friends after a day on the slopes. You loosen your boots and inhibitions while sitting cozy by an outdoor fire.
Even if you aren't one for hitting the slopes, après ski is an easily recognizable aesthetic for those living in colder climates. It's got a laid back vibe, a straight from the slopes to the table energy. A similar feeling could be created drinking hot chocolate post-skating on the river or at the local rink. This style is eternal as essential cozy knits and snow proof boots are. Your après vibe could also be less classic cozy and lean more towards technical Gore-Tex and functional headbands. We have glasses for those days too.
Your shades need to make a statement. Whether you're in a simple knit or full snowsuit, your shades should be as fun as you. Wear them on your eyes to protect yourself from the blinding sun and snow combo, or on your head in lieu of a beanie.
So what are you waiting for? Pickup your new fave pair of sunglasses from us in store or online.

The one thing we love about jewelry is that it's one size fits all — it has a way of making its wearers feel beautiful, and that's what we try to do at ARMED. With every piece of jewelry that leaves the shop, we hope that it will arm its new owners with the confidence they need to take on every day, whether it's for a big date, a job interview, or just lounging at home.
If there is any individual that embodies our message of everyday confidence, it's Mina Gerges. The Canadian influencer started catching attention with his recreations of popular celebrity looks. But his voice, which screams self-love and body positivity, is what has continued to steal hearts across the globe.
Today, Mina Gerges has been featured in BuzzFeed, FASHION Magazine, and a major Sephora campaign, to name a few accoladed mentions. He was also recently praised and featured in Teen Vogue. In the feature, Mina Gerges talks navigating self-love, acceptance in the LGBTQ+ community, and more.
Styled by our good friend Amber Watkins, his bright personality is matched with a killer wardrobe and a few of our favourite ARMED pieces.

With our roots based in Toronto, there is nothing more rewarding than supporting Canadian talent like Tate McRae. From years of competitive dance to landing a finalist spot on So You Think You Can Dance, the Calgary native is a natural in the spotlight and caught the world's attention again when she went viral on YouTube for her original song "One Day" in 2019.
Now, just one short year later, Tate McRae is making waves for her music. In October 2020, the talented Canadian singer was invited to perform for viewers across North America and recently performed her latest single "you broke me first" on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Wearing a structured, oversized blazer and a black co-ord set, we're honoured that the singer chose to pair her ensemble with a silver edit of jewelry from ARMED.
When ELLE Magazine included ARMED in a feature alongside names in Canadian fashion like Beaufille, Horses Atelier, Laura Siegel, Mikhael Kale, and more, it was an absolute honour.
The publication has been a staple in households across the globe and I am so thankful to ELLE and writer Ava Baccari to be mentioned as one of 10 Canadian fashion designers to know.
